this is it. We booked my flight tonight. On October 10th I'm getting on a plane and going out to Seattle. and... that's it. I'll be staying there. Moving in with my brother for a while until I have a job and can afford my own place. It's official now. It's not this... nebulous some-time-in-the-fuzzy-future thing.

HOLY F*CKING SH*T I'M MOVING @_@

I'm a little freaked out. Not gonna lie. I've lived my whole life in this house. Was born in the hospital that is walking-distance away.

And now I'm moving across the frikkin continent.

The move's going to be done in pieces... gonna start boxing up all my winter clothes and bedding and mailing it out to my brother, who's gonna keep it in the room for me. And just.. continue on from there, until all my stuff is in Seattle waiting for me, basically.

Gonna sell Kit as the last thing before leaving and buy a new car out there. Need to buy a cheap furniture set when I'm out there, too. Not anything big or bulky... I do plan to get my own place eventually and I've claimed dibbs on my parent's bedroom set. It's as old as their marriage and still in awesome condition. They just don't make furniture like that anymore... solid wood. heavy. I don't care, I'll pay for the shipping, I want it. So when they move to New Mexico and get new stuff, that's coming to me.

I'm rambling a little. I think. Maybe. I... should get to bed.

Holy crap. I'm really doing it. I'm moving out. O_O

But... this really is the time to do it. The big three-oh is only a few years off and I need to stand on my own two feet and feel like I'm doing something with my life. And that it is MY life, yes.

Though apparently my brother and his wife have just decided to go vegan. >_> ...I'm sorry but I'm bringin' meat into the house yo! And my yogurt and eggs and ice cream and all sorts of other stuff. I'm an omnivore and proud of it, yo! And he knew that when he invited me to live with them so... yeah.

BLARG. I need to go to bed. Holy Hell I'm moving.
